Feeling broody?

It's amazing really how many people keep asking "when are you having another?" Like its law that as soon as you've had one child you MUST want more. Yes, we know friends and family only want to take an interest in our lives, but there are times when the constant questions about when baby number two is coming along can be SO frustrating!

Honestly, I've really enjoyed having all the time I have to spend with my gorgeous girl. Watching her grow, learn and produce her own unique little character. Wouldn't having another distract my attention from her? I think that now Macie is at nursery, almost knows her own mind and pretty much isn't my little baby anymore, it's only now making me miss how small she used to be.

Yes, babies are lovely, small and often very cute. But I feel as though people forget how much we have to go through to produce them. 9 long months of pregnancy, losing your figure and perky breasts - It is (most of) us who will then struggle to lose the weight afterwards as well as be up at night with a crying baby.

In reality, I know that I am not nearly mentally nor physically ready for the challenge of another baby. Plus with our wedding being almost 9 months away, it's not possible. So to anyone who keeps asking when we will be extending our family - the answer is no time soon!

Does anyone else feel like there is pressure to have multiple children or even close gaps between them?
